A product of the late-60s creative jazz explosion in Britain, this album has acquired near-mythic status, with copies of the 1972 original changing hands at outrageous prices. It's also the debut album of the still very much active singer Norma Winstone. She was hesitant about agreeing to this reissue but she needn't have been, because it catches perfectly the heady atmosphere of those days, when anything seemed possible. And, even at this early stage, her voice had its unique quality of intimate stillness. Musicians here include Mike Osborne, John Taylor, Malcolm Griffiths, Henry Lowther and Kenny Wheeler.
